These Terms of Service ("this Agreement") constitute a legal agreement between you and GoldPal developer ("we" or "us") regarding your use of the GoldPal iOS application ("the App").
This Agreement applies to all users who download and use GoldPal from the Apple App Store, including both free and Pro subscription users. The App's Privacy Policy is an integral part of this Agreement and has the same legal effect.
GoldPal provides the following main features (actual features are subject to in-app availability):
Create multiple gold ledgers to record holding information including name, weight, purchase price, date, channel, location, and purchase receipt photos.
Automatically calculate holding valuation, profit/loss, premium rate, and more based on real-time gold prices (spot prices), supporting multiple currencies (CNY, USD, HKD, JPY, etc.) and weight units (grams, ounces, taels, mace, ryō, etc.).
Provides auxiliary calculation tools for gold weight and price conversion.
Provides basic educational content on gold investment for learning purposes only.
Unlock premium features through App Store In-App Purchase subscription, including but not limited to: unlimited ledger count, historical gold price charts, advanced data export, home screen widgets, and more (specific benefits are subject to the subscription page description).
Sync and backup ledger data across devices through your personal iCloud account.
To use the App, you must meet the following conditions:
GoldPal Pro offers the following subscription plans through Apple App Store (specific prices are subject to App Store display, varying by region and currency):

Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, your subscription will automatically renew. Renewal fees will be charged to the payment method linked to your Apple ID.
Free trials may be available in some regions or during promotional periods. After the trial ends, if not cancelled, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Go to iPhone Settings → Tap your name → Subscriptions → Find GoldPal → Cancel Subscription. After cancellation, Pro benefits remain active until the end of the current subscription period.
Subscription fees are collected by Apple. Refund requests must be processed through Apple's official channel: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot directly process refunds.
On devices with the same Apple ID, you can restore your existing Pro subscription through the "Restore Purchases" feature in the App without paying again.

All content in the App, including but not limited to: application code, UI design, icons, animations, copy, and brand identity (GoldPal), are protected by copyright and related intellectual property laws, and are owned by or licensed to the GoldPal developer.
This Agreement grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal use license to download and use the App on Apple devices you own. This license may not be transferred to any third party.
Service Changes: We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, including but not limited to: adjusting free feature scope, modifying Pro subscription benefits, discontinuing maintenance of specific features, etc. Significant changes will be announced in advance through App Store update notes.
Price Changes: Pro subscription prices may change due to Apple pricing policies or our operational needs. Price changes will take effect at your next subscription cycle, and we will announce in advance in the App or App Store update page.
App Removal: In extreme cases (such as policy requirements, force majeure), the App may be removed from the App Store. After removal:
Data Backup Recommendation: We strongly recommend regularly exporting data as CSV using the "Ledger Export" feature as a local backup to prevent data loss from device damage, accidental deletion, or service discontinuation.

The App is provided "AS IS" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The App may include the following third-party services or links:
StoreKit (subscription payment), CloudKit (iCloud sync), Vision Framework (OCR), MapKit (location selection), WidgetKit (widgets). These services are subject to Apple Terms of Service.
The App obtains gold market data through third-party data APIs. These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not guarantee their data accuracy or availability.
Links to Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and other platforms in the App will redirect to external apps or websites, which are subject to their respective terms of service.
We are not responsible for third-party services' or platforms' content, privacy practices, or terms of use.
We may revise this Agreement from time to time to reflect legal changes, feature updates, or operational adjustments. Revised agreements will be posted on this page with links updated in the App's "Settings → About".
If significant changes occur (e.g., fundamental changes to billing or data handling), we will notify through App Store update logs and display prompts when the App launches.
Continuing to use the App constitutes acceptance of the revised agreement. If you disagree, please stop using the App and cancel your Pro subscription (if any).
The formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of this Agreement are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (or applicable local laws where you are located).
Any disputes arising from this Agreement should first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent people's court or apply for arbitration.
